For anyone doubting diversity, it’s time to have a seat.Hidden Figuresis thenumber one movie in the countryafter raking in $22.8 million, thus dethroningRogue Oneand exceeding expectations in the process. Yes, the film about three brilliant black women who helped launch John Glenn into space was the most-watched film this weekend. This is huge news considering one of the major arguments against diversity is that a film starring a person of color won’t be a major box office draw.
