Mark Ruffalo’s Hulk Will Appear InThor: Ragnarok; Tom Hiddleston’s Loki Is Rumored

Mark Ruffalo’s Hulk will punch his way intoThor: Ragnarok, making the third in theThortrilogy yet another example of a Marvel movie crossover. Is every solo superhero film going to feature a handful of cameos from other heroes now? Anyway, this news has fanned the flames on those persistent rumors that a “Planet Hulk” plot-line could be in the works, given that the nextThoris slated to take placeon a “distant planet”that’s neither Earth nor Asgard.

Then again, perhaps we should take this news with a grain of salt, given thatJoblo’s “inside sources” for this storyalso confirmed that Tom Hiddleston will return forRagnarok… whereas Hiddleston toldScreen Rantyesterday that he wasn’t sure whether Loki would appear inThor 3: “I think so. I mean, I don’t know.” Later in the interview, he elaborated:

You know, I genuinely do not know. I wish there was something I could tell you. I haven’t spoken to anyone at Marvel for about two years. That universe is expanding at such a rate, so… your guess is as good as mine.

Hiddleston’s quotes here refer not only toThor: Ragnarokbut also Loki’s potential resurfacing in theAvengersfilms. Maybe Hiddleston’s trying to throw us all off the trail, but it doesn’t sound like Loki’s a sure bet.

What do you think? Would you like to see Hulk and/or Loki appear in the nextThorfilm? TheThor特许经营thus far does seem like it needs, uh, a little help from some of its other heroes …
